Girl Power and Popcorn: A Movie Meetup!

While we have been really enjoying our first few brunches for February’s event we wanted to mix it up a bit. Last weekend, we hosted a brunch meetup that combined the thrill of the big screen with the power of sisterhood, and it was an absolute blast!

Instead of your typical girls’ brunch out, we embarked on a cinematic adventure to see the highly talked about film, Madame Web. Sure the reviews weren’t the best but that wasn’t going to stop us from going out and having a good time. We leaned into it, themed our gifts after the movie, and by the time came we were SUPER excited to see it no matter the reviews. Captain Nicki really went all out with her baked treats, and I made some “spider venom” themed lipglosses.

It’s great to see more and more female characters take center stage, and the movie sparked engaging discussions and lots of laughs.

Before the film, we ordered several different cocktails and shared some tasty free popcorn the theater was so kind to gift us! Even the bartender tried to warn us about the movie but after learning we already knew he gave us some great strong drink recommendations. XD

We definitely plan to do another brunch and movie in the future, maybe in a few months for Furiosa.
