Geeky Goodies Galore!
In December, Geek Girl Brunch Philadelphia held their annual Geeky Gift Exchange at City Tap House – Logan Square. Grinchmas was the theme of the month, and ladies showed up in their holiday finest. Brunchettes came armed with nerdy gifts to give and bodies ready for mimosa consumption. Handy, since City Tap has a “Build Your Own Mimosa” special for breakfast. A bottle of sparkling wine just for me? Brunchettes said, “you betcha!” Cranberry, grapefruit, and orange were just some of the juice options to BYOM.

After ordering a variety of different foods, Brunchettes got into the white elephant of it all. At first it seemed as though people were reluctant to steal, but once someone got the ball rolling it kept on rolling. A Star Wars mug, Supernatural cookbook, Harry Potter stationary, Peanuts lights, and jewelry were just some of the thoughtful nerd swag shared by members.
