Geek Girl Brunch Houston After Dark Crashes Saint Arnold’s Brewery

The Houston chapter of Geek Girl Brunch likes to mix things up, and as such, hosted an After Dark event as an alternative to weekend brunches at Saint Arnold’s Brewery on June 27, 2019. Brunchettes quaffed beer, cider, and root beer floats, and noshed on hipster versions of elote, fried green tomatoes, and pizza.

Nine beautiful faces attended the event, many of which had never attended a Geek Girl Brunch event before. The local stray cat, a sweet but skittish calico, drew the attention of most of the group, who tried to win her over and pet her. The top five geeky topics of discussion included K-pop, sci-fi, Good Omens, cosplay, and your personal top geeky interests.
