GGB San Antonio’s November Harry Potter Brunch!

There is something about the month of November that gets this group thinking about Harry Potter. Perhaps it is because the newest film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise was hitting theaters, perhaps it is because we can start bringing out our favorite house scarves, but we can all agree that the world of Harry Potter has captivated us as we head into the colder months of the year.

Once again at a favorite haunt of ours, the San Antonio branch spent this brisk Sunday morning at The Lion & Rose British Pub. We had a very good time, with excellent company as we gathered to celebrate one of our favorite fandoms.

True to form, most of our girls were ready with their Harry Potter universe shirts! (Really, we all look forward to wearing our merch).

But that’s not all – no brunch would be complete without a raffle. We had art, mini wands, pint glasses and even a Triwizard Tournament Cup! The latter was the most coveted item, which we used, of course, to facilitate the raffle. How could we not?

We had a lot of winners this time around, thanks to the generosity of our girls. Just look at how happy each girl is with her prize!

Join us next time for our holiday Brunchmas! (Hooray!) We have plans for a white elephant game, excellent grab bags, and amazing company – don’t miss it!
