Gainesville’s Galentine’s Day Brunch

It was only the best day of the year…Galentine’s Day! Gainesville Brunchettes came to Alpin Bistro decked out in red and pink for ladies celebrating ladies.

Galentine’s Day is one of the many holidays originating from NBC’s Parks and Recreation. It’s a day for friendships and brunch, or as Leslie Knope says, “We just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies.”

Alpin Bistro was the perfect location for celebration. They had a wide arrangement of cocktails and crepes, both sweet and savory.

This was a special brunch for the Gainesville chapter of Geek Girl Brunch. The Hoggetowne Medieval Faire ended earlier in the month, so brunchettes involved with the Thieves Guilde could return to the monthly brunches. It was also Jordan’s birthday! Officer Emily surprised her with a keto cheesecake.

Brunchettes got a swag bag put together by Officers Megan and Emily. There was plenty of candy, bubbles, stamps, stickers and conversation heart rubber ducks.
