GGB Charlotte Celebrates With a Marvelous Brunch!

Our Charlotte girls had a Marvelous time at our Marvel-themed brunch on April 29!

With the recent releases of Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, our Geek Girl Brunch Chapter decked out in their favorite superhero accessories and clothing, and said “Excelsior!” to breakfast at Mimosa Grill.

We welcomed a cozy group of eight, who stuffed themselves silly, noshing on goodies like pastries, bacon and eggs, shrimp and grits, French toast, and decadent chocolate-covered strawberries. Discussions (spoiler-free, of course) flew at a fast pace around the table, with everyone excitedly naming off their favorite characters and movies.

Our adorable goodie giveaways included a comic-themed planter and seed packet to grow your own Groot, Avengers-themed pencils and notepads, and a Spiderman bracelet. Additionally, we gave away a tin Marvel sign, a Blank Panther Funko Pop, and a “Fight Evil: Read Books” pouch to two lucky winners.

We’re looking forward to welcoming even more geek girls in June for our next brunch, so be on the lookout for an official date and time!
