GGB Cleveland – July Brunch Wonderful World of Disney / Princesses
July’s Wonderful World of Disney brunch was held at Brim Kitchen and Brewery. Everyone was encouraged to dress in their favorite Disney attire. Some of us wore our favorite princess on a shirt or a cartoon character they loved from the Disney franchise. One of our member’s even dressed as a Marvel character! (Lest we forgot Disney bought Marvel.)
Every one of our attendees were given a crown to decorate, along with a wonderful Disney sketch card from a local artist, and a scepter. Everyone had a lot of fun sharing craft items, and showing off their work in progress while decorating their crowns. It was a nice ice breaker for everyone.
Once everyone was done decorating, we asked them to walk around to show off their crowns, and vote on who’s crown was best. The top 3 votes were given a plethora of swag.
After brunch, because it was also National Ice Cream Day, a few of us headed to 8 Below for some handmade rolled ice cream.
In addition to brunch, our GGBC Book Club read “Off To Be The Wizard” by Scott Meyer. It was held at a local Panera, and hosted by Jessica & Britteny. The GBBC Movie Outing will be “Kiki’s Delivery Service” at a local theater. Once again, Officer Darlene will be hosting this event. Because these are considered ‘Unofficial”, we encourage our members to bring their friends and partners with them.
Next month’s brunch…Harry Potter and the Brunch of Fire!
