GGB Seattle celebrates Galentine’s Day!
Seattle is a far cry from Pawnee, but GGB Seattle would have made Leslie Knope very proud with their Galentine’s Day brunch.
Five ladies got together for brunch at a fun place called Vivo 53, right outside of Seattle. Â The motif and menu are both retro Italian, and the brunch menu was divine: Â ranging from bottomless mimosas to salmon pizza, everyone found something to rave about!
Each Brunchette was greeted with a cute little Galentine bucket full of stickers, patches, and candy. Â Each bucket was addressed in a Leslie-to-Ann compliment:
You beautiful, rule-breaking moth
You cunning, pliable, chestnut-haired sunfish
You poetic, noble land-mermaid
Super fun!

We spent some time talking about current events, women in film, and what kind of events we’d like to see GGB plan over the next few months. What a great way to celebrate Galentine’s Day! Karaoke, tabletop gaming, and an event centered around Emerald City Comic-Con will be happening in the near future.
