GGB Philly’s August Nintendo Brunch
On August 16th, GGB Philly decided to get a little 8-bit at Nintendo Brunch. For our third gathering of pancakes and geekery, we returned to the lovely and accommodating City Tap House U City–bringing 20 brunchettes with us!
Each place setting was garnished with gorgeous, custom Nintendo brunch pins made by our resident pin-making queen, officer Emi, lovely Nintendo prints fresh, and adorable little notebooks from Philly’s chapter of New York Code & Design Academy.
We also had a great giveaway table which included adorable Captain America!Pikachu keychains from the lovely & talented LCMetalArt, 5 tee shirts from the generous New York Code & Design Academy, and a ticket to Philly’s own premiere Anime con, J1-Con!
Brunch lasted about two hours, during which much bonding occurred over Nintendo DS, iPad games, fangirling over cosplays, and of course, a zillion other things! The brunchettes left with new friends, excited as ever for the next brunch!
