Animation in Action

Animation can explain whatever the mind of man can conceive.

Walt Disney

Animation brought the brunchettes of Philadelphia together for our first brunch of 2020. We went back to one of our favorite locations, Craft Hall, to try out some of their brunch specialties. Craft Hall is home to Mainstay Independent Brewing Company and Lost Bread Co. Bakery, so brunchettes had a great brunch menu and wonderful craft beers to choose from.

Fresh baked buttermilk biscuits, chicken and waffles, and smoked ribs and hash browns were just some of the delicious food brunchettes enjoyed. Bottomless mimosas were also on offer, and a few brunchettes decided that was the way to go!

Buttermilk biscuits, bacon, peach preserves, and a spiced toddy!

Craft Hall is one of our favorite places because there is so much to see and do. They have games, a pirate ship playground, video games, and tons of space to spread out. Brunchettes can head to the bar and order food or drinks on their own tab, then return to the table for geeky goodness! They even have their own farmyard outside with chickens and rabbits! And cartoons playing on the TVs.

There were lots of fun animation giveaways, and we finally found a taker for our Naruto swag! There’s a place for everyone’s fandom here at Geek Girl Brunch Philadelphia. Brunchettes repped Disney, Pokemon, Totoro, and more, proving that animation covers a wide variety of awesome things!

Philly will be back in February with our Board Game brunch!
