GGB Grand Rapids Does Galentine’s Day
On February 13th, the ladies of Grand Rapids rolled out in style to celebrate Galentine’s day!
Grand Rapids is home to many amazing restaurants, and when Megs and I started planning the event our minds immediately went to Anna’s House.
Anna’s House is this very well known in the area for having an amazing breakfast and brunch menu – in fact, that’s all they serve! It was a wonderful spot for our first brunch, the staff were amazing and incredibly accommodating.
When I told the hostess about us, she asked if I knew any of the women. I told her I had only ever met my fellow officer, Megs, and she was stunned!
“So it’s like a blind BFF date for geeky women?”
Exactly. 😉
For our girls we handed out a comic book and a little goody bag which included a Lush bath bomb and some candy to enjoy when they got home. We even gave one to our server!
Not only was our brunch delicious, but the manager surprised us with this AMAZING cinnamon roll! He said he thought what we were doing was super cool, and that he was honored that we chose his restaurant!
Megs was a little overwhelmed when she got her Twilight French Toast – it was as big as her head!
Our first brunch was a hit! Megs and I are thrilled with how everything turned out, and we can’t wait for future events!
