Pixel Perfect Orlando Brunch
Hello Fellow Brunch Loving Geek Girls,
Paige here from the Orlando Chapter! For our second gathering here in Orlando, we chose a pretty broad theme that we knew everyone would love. Video Games! No matter if you’re a lady who loves first person shooters, rpgs, or nostalgic Nintendo wonderment, within this pixelated realm there’s something for everyone and we were happy to celebrate that at Brio Tuscan Grill at Millennia mall.
So grateful for this spectacular turnout! The weather report was pretty up and down here in FL the entire week leading up to the event. I was pleased as a (princess) peach not only that we didn’t have to cancel, but also that the morning was sunny, and so many people came out.

I wanted to add a little bit of “Opfh!” to the settings. So, to decorate the tables I picked up these great printable DIY Mario set from PepitosRoom on etsy. (Who by the way has a crazy selection of awesome DIY favors and décor to choose from) Everyone loved them so much! Not only did my xp go up in brunch décor and DIY but all of us got to take one home. Mine now resides on my desk, and just looks too cute.
Another wonderful thing in the goodies department we had for this brunch Fox Searchlight reached out to us and generously provided us all with early screening tickets to see Mistress America in theaters. It was such a nice opportunity to see some familiar faces outside of brunch. Plus who doesn’t love a good advanced screening? Thanks Cristina for the tickets!
Thanks to all of our Orlando ladies for geeking out together this month. I’m really looking forward to continuing to grow this community in our home city. In the words of one of our Brunchettes Lacy “To unity in the community!”
Xoxo Paige
