GGB Portland – Star Trek Brunch

The Portland chapter met this month to boldly go where all Geek Girl Brunchettes love to go… brunch and Rose City Comic Con!

Our first stop was at East Burn for some delicious food, cocktails, and some fun conversation. The girls enjoyed everything from pancakes to benedicts to mimosas in our own private dining room.

Each girl received a Star Trek hair bow from Bacon & Glitter (PDX officer Candice’s Etsy shop), and some great custom buttons made by PDX officer Jamila Clarke (she also designed our Star Trek banner)!

After brunch all the girls headed to Rose City Comic Con where we had a scavenger hunt. The girls had a chance to win tickets to the Portland Retro Gaming Expo by being the first to finish the scavenger hunt. We also gave away a pair of tickets to our best dressed brunchette.

The GGB PDX officers are excited to announce that we’ll have a booth at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo October 17-18, so stop by and say hi (Booth T-43). You can get signed up for our chapter and possibly win some cool prizes!
